Mission Statement
The mission of Christian Education at Hughes UMC is to provide spiritual nurture and support to people of all ages within our church and community by:
• Forging the Word of God into each person’s heart and mind.
• Facilitating opportunities for individuals to encounter Jesus Christ and
strengthen their relationship with God.
• Fostering the growth and development of Christian disciples.
Christian Education is the ministry that provides foundational support for all other ministries so that we, HUMC, can share God’s story of love in a hurting world.
Hughes offers a variety of opportunities to learn study and discuss the Word of God. Each has its own character, and we are confident that you can find a format and schedule that suits you.
